One of our top priorities is active communication with parents and our community.  This website was designed to be a user-friendly communication tool.  We hope you will find the design aesthetically pleasing and the content current and informative.  Please access the site often for current news, important announcements, student photos, school forms and class information.  We welcome your feedback

Student Recognized
   Congratulations to 8th grader Zoe Strings who qualified for the Duke TIP program over the summer. Her selection was based on ACT scores as a 7th grader.

Students Visit New Library

Language Arts Students Hard at Work
Paris Middle School students in Mrs. Samantha Brown's ELA class work together to create Venn Diagrams about two characters in the novel they are reading titled, Tangerine

Students Study Edgar Allen Poe
  Students in Kristen Jones's eighth grade language arts class display their creations after reading and discussing Edgar Allan Poe's short story, "The Masque of the Red Death."  Pictured are Tori Denton and Emily Guy.

Academic Team Places Second at District Governors Cup
The Paris Middle School Academic Team finished as runners-up in the District Governor's Cup competition.  The Quick Recall team and seven individual students will advance to the Regional Tournament held Saturday, February 13th at Jessie Clark MS. 

Paris Middle Holds Spelling Bee
Congratulations to Hunter Brady, Paris Middle School Spelling Bee Champion and Cherie Dennis, Paris Middle School Spelling Bee Runner-up. Hunter will represent Paris Middle School in the upcoming county-wide spelling bee.

Community Service Project
Paris Middle School students engaged in a community service project in December.  Students made “no sew” blankets to deliver to Bourbon Heights. 

Library Visit
Students in Mrs. Jennifer Allen's class took a walking field trip to the "old" public library location on Main Street.  The new location officially opened on January 11. 

Chocolate Rocks!
Eighth grade Science students in Ms. Kathleen Harris' class are pictured modeling rocks made with three different colors of chocolate chips. Students modeled metamorphic, sedimentary, and igneous rock cycles, wrote in their journals and then ate the results! 

Cupcake Fun!
  Ms. Lori Winburn's cupcake club created Minion cupcakes!

Infinite Campus Parent Portal Now Mobile App
Infinite Campus can now be accessed from parents' smart phones!  Log in to the Parent Portal then click on the "Available on the App Store" icon then follow directions listed.  You will need a new user name for this app.  Password remains the same.  Email or for new user name.  Click here for a quick tutorial.
